I don't really like talking about myself too much

but just saying that I live in a little village in

Hertfordshire with my lovely wife and rather

cute dog didn't really seem quite enough, so

here is a little more about me.....

​

I have been photographing weddings for more than thirty years and am enjoying every minute of it.

 

This year I am very proud to have received

two awards from ' Fearless Photographers '

to feature alongside the worlds best

wedding photographers

.....now I am blushing !

My photographs are mainly documentary in style, natural, fun, sometimes a little quirky but I hope still look timeless with a modern edge. I photographed weddings for many years on film and now use that beautiful film inspired look in editing my images.

 

Although I bring along an assortment of 

cameras and lighting my real love is to work

discreetly with just one small camera and use

natural light to catch expressions, emotions

and all the little details of the day.

 

The documentary style works really

well for most of the day however most

couples like to do a few formal group

photographs..........I don't like to drag

anyone around the venue for hours on

end, just a few photos of the family and

friends and perhaps later on a little time

with the bride and groom for some relaxed photos together.

 

Each wedding I photograph

is different but I have popped

might make a good starting

point for your own plans

I'm happy to travel anywhere in

the UK and love photographing

weddings in France and

Italy too !
